Adicep Technologies will offer a family of innovative and unobtrusive, light weight, easy to put on and take off robotic leg braces capable of alleviating knee joint pain while improving patient mobility by reducing the tibiofemoral forces on the knee. These microprocessor controlled braces dynamically adapt to the patient’s preferred gait and walking speed over varied terrain substantially increasing the speed and type of terrain the patient can navigate without other assistance. The braces can also help mitigate knee buckling by locking the knee-joint when necessary, thus allowing the leg brace to support the torso. The braces will include local and remote monitoring over the Internet and firmware updating capability allowing for the diagnosis and custom programming of the patients' exercise regime to help correct the patients gait for maximum benefit. The braces can also monitor patient status and send emergency alerts if necessary. The braces will reduce the need to frequently tether to a charging station or wall outlet with batteries that only need to be charged once a day. The batteries will sustain a full day of strenuous activity that includes a 10-mile hike.  And, with our break through pricing, the Adicep braces will substantially improve the profitability of providers. Adicep will set new standards in the robotic brace market by bringing the programmability of the brace functions to the provider locally and remotely. Using our innovative technology that combines our patented non-linear torsion spring with our patented scheme called Morphological Switching we can change the mechanical structure of the brace through its’ microprocessor control. Now the brace functionality will be more closely matched to patient needs and help improve patient outcomes.
